About

Hi, I’m Alinne. I started Lucid Hearth because good sleep advice is often buried under hype, miracle promises and endless product lists. I wanted one calm corner of the internet with practical, gentle habits you can actually try tonight.

For years I lived with ailments I’d been told were simply chronic, something to manage rather than resolve. When I finally focused on my circadian rhythm, with a steady wake time, morning light, a real wind-down and darker, calmer evenings, things began to change. Over time, issues I had accepted as permanent eased and then stopped. That experience is why I believe so strongly in gentle, consistent sleep habits. Everyone’s body is different, but I’ve seen firsthand how much a well-tuned rhythm can matter.

Why sleep matters

Sleep is when the body and mind do their quiet repair work. It affects mood, focus, energy, appetite and how well we handle stress. Many of us treat it as the first thing to give up when life gets busy, but it’s really the foundation everything else rests on.

A gentle, non-pill approach

Everything here is built on small, simple changes: a steady wake time, a wind-down window, parking your phone, a cooler bedroom, slow breathing before bed. No miracle cures, no pressure, no overhaul. One small step at a time is plenty.

What you’ll find here

  • Wind-down routines: ways to close the day without screens taking over.
  • Breathing and quiet-mind practices: gentle patterns to try without pressure.
  • Everyday sleep habits: caffeine cutoffs, consistent wake times, phone parking and a cooler bedroom.
  • Honest recommendations: like pillows for side sleepers, only when something is worth your money. Some links are affiliate links; see the affiliate disclosure.

You can browse everything in the Sleep Guides.

Start with the free 7-Night Sleep Reset

If you’re not sure where to begin, the 7-Night Sleep Reset is a calm week with one small change per night: a fixed wind-down window, phone parking that actually sticks, a 2-minute bedroom check and a simple end-of-week review. It’s a free printable PDF checklist, sent to your inbox.

A quick, important note

I’m not a doctor, and nothing on Lucid Hearth is medical advice. These are everyday habits, not treatment. If your sleep problems are persistent, or you notice things like loud snoring, gasping at night or heavy daytime sleepiness, please talk to a doctor.
